Eleanor A. Farrell
Of Elk Grove Village, formerly of Crystal Lake, Park Ridge and long-time Arlington Heights resident, was born February 18, 1916 in Chicago to Richard and Margaret (nee Kane) Cassidy. She died Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Manor Care Healthcare Center in Elk Grove Village.

Mrs. Farrell enjoyed spending her summers in Bailey's Harbor, Wisconsin where she volunteered at the Ridges Sanctuary.

Her survivors include her children Richard (Susan) Farrell of Ottawa, Ill., Norine (Edward) O'Malley of Dunnellon, Fla., Walter (Kathleen) Farrell of Evanston, Margaret (James) Bull of Great Falls, Mont., Michael (Nancy) Farrell of Wheaton, Catherine (Bruce) Fraser of Glendale Heights, Daniel (Sandra) Farrell of Glendale, Ariz., Shalagh Brockway of Crystal Lake, and Timothy (Jeanne) Farrell of Naperville; her 24 grandchildren: Catherine, Kevin, Christopher, Justin, Bridget, Jennifer, Brendan, Meghan, Maura, Delia, Sarah, Colleen, Sean, Molly, Ryan, Charlene, Claudia, Melissa, Adam, Kevin, Nora, Michael, Daniel and Kelly; many great grand children, one great-great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband George; her grandchildren Amy and Shannon, great grandson Jack; and her twin sister, Eileen Lowery, and brothers, Robert and William Cassidy.

Memorial Mass is 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 17, 2007 at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Assn. of Greater Chicago, 4709 Golf Rd., Suite #1015, Skokie IL 60076.
