Christine Verlinda Bridges McCoig, 82, of Knoxville, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023. She was artistic and enjoyed drawing and creating colorful ceramics. Christine was a loving wife of 60 years, and an adoring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had a strong Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lillian Bridges; sons, Brian McCoig and Robert McCoig; and brothers, L.D. and Maurice Bridges.
Christine is survived by her husband, Jerry McCoig; daughter, Renea Hunter and husband, Dennis; son, Scott McCoig and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Aaron McCoig and wife, Kat, Mike McCoig and wife, Heather, Sarah Hunter, Rebecca Henley and husband, Stephen; her pride and joy, great-grandson, Felix McCoig; and a host of extended family members and friends.
