Jean married the love of her life, Jerle (Buddy) Ragland, on May 12th, 1970. As they traveled the world together, they enjoyed Country Music festivals, sightseeing, family time, and just being together. Our family takes comfort in knowing that the two of them have been reunited at heavens gates.

Jean enjoyed playing softball in her younger years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company which she later retired from after 31 years. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and Westoak Woods Baptist Church. She was known for being a sharp dressed businesswoman with the best hair in town.

Family members preceded in death; husband Jerle Ragland; son, Mike Cayce; siblings, Joan Holiday, Carolyn Alsup, and James Alsup.

Those left with her memories; siblings Louis Dunn, Nina Chapman, and Nelda Bailey; Grandchildren Christy Hutson, husband Richard, Ryan Cayce, wife Amy; several Great-grandchildren and Great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Jean will have graveside services March 9th, 2023, at Philips Cemetery in Dripping Springs, TX.
