ERMER, RUBY N. (WOOD) On Tuesday, June 27, 2006 in Dallas, TX
RUBY N. WOOD ERMER was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Percy H. Wood and her adoring second husband of 19 years, Clarence Ermer. Mother of Floy Evans and her husband, Holland of Houston, TX, Percy Wood and his wife, Kim of Baltimore, MD, Ruby Wood Sevcik and her husband, John of Irving, TX, Roy Wood and his wife, Marlow of Dallas, TX and her step-son, Jeff Ermer of Crofton, MD; sister of Anna VirginiaChapel of Virginia and Pearl Wood of Maryland. Also survived by eight grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law, numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends. Formerly a member and officer of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary #1627, former choir director at Carmody Hills Baptist Church for 17 years, former member of Broadview Baptist Church and a current member of Sunnyvale First Baptist Church in Sunnyvale, TX. After a short illness, she died peacefully with her loved ones at her bedside singing praises to the glory of God at Baylor Medical Hospital in Dallas, TX. She went home to the Lord after a long and faithful life of service to her saviour. Psalm 100; 1-3 - Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all the ye lands, serve the Lord with gladness, come into his prescence with singing, know that the Lord is God, it is he that made us and not we ourselves, we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Friends may call on Friday, June 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Branch Ave. and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD where service will be held on Saturday, July 1, at 1 p.m. Interment Washington National Cemetery.
