In all likelihood and with consideration of the death notice in the attached picture, Nancy was not buried in the Panther Creek cemetery but was buried in the Tennessee River Cemetery, aka Dorsey Cemetery which was located on the north side of the Little Tennessee River in the community of Dorsey. That Cemetery is now underwater. There is no listing of Nancy in the TVA records for Dorsey Cemetery nor for Panther Creek Cemetery when the census of the cemetery was completed in approximately 1941 during the preliminary process for cemetery preparations and removal when Fontana Lake was built.
