Jenny Kishman, 67, of Mason, TN passed surrounded by her loved ones and family Sunday, June 9, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett in Bartlett, TN. Virginia Sue "Jenny" Hendrick Kishman was born July 5, 1951 in Covington, TN to the William R, Jr, and Sue L. Hendrick. She was preceded in death by her father, William R. Hendrick, Jr. and her sister Helen Hendrick Cannady. Jenny loved children and all types of animals. She was friendly, kind, giving, gracious, made friends instantly and was the most caring, attentive and loving mother possible. She was a graduate of Byars Hall High School in Covington and trained as a flight attendant. She worked with children at Arlington Developmental Center, subsequently managed and owned day care services. She owned and managed Centsable Choice Clothing in Erwin, NC. She graduated from Tipton County Community College and became licensed as a LPN. She worked in different areas of health care and also owned and managed Ruthie's Country Store in Holliday, TN. She had worked at Bozo's Barbeque early in life and returned decades later as manager to revive the business. She was instrumental in creating the wardrobe for the Covington Rotary Club Clowns who participated in a charity softball game and the Covington Christmas Parade. Jenny also proudly became the first female Paul Harris Fellow in the Covington Rotary Club. She is survived by: her daughter, Ashley Kishman, mother, Sue Hendrick, and brother, William Hendrick III; and her step-daughter, Monica Jenkins of Bradenton, FL. Also surviving are: her nephew William R. Hendrick IV, niece Susan Elswick, Jennifer Davison, brother-in-law Steve Cannady, nephews Sean Cannady, Cory Cannady and niece Holly Cannady. A brief Memorial Service will be held at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 12th, at 2PM. Visitation will be held from 1-2 prior to the services starting. A short prayer will then be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Mason, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to: Foundation Fighting Blindness, your local SPCA or other animal rescue, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
