James W. Bailey
James W. Bailey, 68, of Clarksville died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at his home.
He was a retired director of Arkansas Environmental Academy in Camden, served on water, waste water, solid waste, and recycling boards where he was the recipient of numerous honors and awards, son of the late Drayfus and Ruth E. Moore Bailey, and was preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Bailey, and one brother, Jerry Bailey.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon M. Bailey; three daughters, Angela Vaught and husband, Herb, of Altus, Tammy Pearson of Richmond, Va., and Melodye Stickley and husband, Russell, of Hartman; and seven grandchildren, Cody and Alexandria Vaught, Nick Helms, Collin and Katie Pearson, and Brittney and Quincey Stickley.
A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 29, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Don Collie officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
