• McMILLAN -- Graveside services for Venita Ruth Campbell, 79, a life-long resident of the McMillan area and Chickasaw Alliance charter member have been scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Hunter Pickens Cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell was born Oct. 13, 1921, at McMillan to the late Samuel and Hattie Pickens Stout. She died Aug. 14, 2001, at Oklahoma City.
She was a member of the Chickasaw Senior Citizens and Pickens Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Dewberry, Madill; sisters, Pauline Watson and Josie Crow of Ardmore; a grandchild and a great-grandchild. A sister, Rosie Underwood, and brother, Joseph Stout, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Watts Funeral Home in Madill.
