Henry Clinton Rahlf, Jr., 94, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his home. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sweetland United Methodist Church. Memorials may be directed to the Sweetland United Methodist Church in Henry's name. Henry Clinton Rahlf, Jr. was born March 5, 1928 in New Era, the son of Henry Rahlf, Sr. and Dorothy (Berntheisel) Rahlf. Henry proudly served his country in the U.S Army during the Korean Was as a Commanders driver. On November 19, 1950, Henry was united in marriage to Phyllis Barnhart in Cranston, Iowa. Henry was a lifelong farmer in the area and had also worked for Iowa Highway Commission for six years. He was a member of the Sweetland United Methodist Church, the Experimental Airplane Association in both the National and Local Chapters 111 and 75, the Sport Aviation Association, National Antique Airplane Association, Blackhawk Aero Squadron and the Midwest Antique Airplane Club. Henry enjoyed time spent with his family and many friends and building and flying airplanes-building five full size planes over the years and owning numerous antique airplanes.

Henry will be deeply missed by his son, Steven Rahlf of Muscatine and two grandchildren, Clayton and Alexis Rahlf.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Phyllis in 2015; son, Wayne Rahlf in 1982, sisters, Gloria (Weldon) Barnhart, Margaret (Richard) Boldt, brother-in-law, Wayne Barnhart and sister-in-law Gladys Castle.
