Funeral Services Held Here for Floyd A. McCollum
Funeral services for Floyd A. McCollum, 80, a resident of Salinas for 77 years, were held at Struve and Laporte's here yesterday afternoon. Officiating was the Rev. M. L. Kemper of the First Presbyterian church and members of Salinas Elk's lodge No. 614.
Serving as pallbearers were W. C. Hill, W. R. Tavernetti, William Church, M. S. Cahoon, Frank Heple and Arthur Lund. Interment was in the family plot in Garden of Memories.
Mr. McCollum passed away Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital, where he had been ill for a week. Mr. McCollum, active in the civic and fraternal life of the city, made his home at 141 Central avenue.
