Donald G. Linderman, 95, of Leespot, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Berks Heim after a short stay. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Ruccio) Linderman. They were married June 13, 1953 and celebrated 69 years of marriage.

Born in Hyde Park, he was the son of the late George and Florence (Ohlinger) Linderman. He was a member of the former Grace Alsace U.C.C. Church. He graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1945. Donald was a US Army Veteran of World War II, serving in China and The Philippines. He worked as auto parts manager at the former Hettinger brothers dealership, Hyde Park; then David Loose Chrysler Plymouth, Leesport; and last worked at Lindgren Chrysler Plymouth, Shillington before retiring in 1989. At church, he served as an elder, deacon, and Sunday school teacher. He was a member of Tuckerton Nifty Fifty Club; a charter member of Seasons Spokes Bike Club; and always enjoyed riding bicycles. He was a former treasurer of Leesport Fire Beneficial Association; a former Leesport councilman; and always enjoyed his time with 1013. Donald was fond of summer vacations in Stone Harbor; and was a dedicated volunteer of Meals on Wheels.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Terry E. Linderman-Becker, wife of Jeffrey, Hamburg, and Kathy S. (Linderman) Sanders, Allentown; five grandchildren: Kate Becker Humphrey, wife of Graham, Emily Marie Calaman, and Matthew, Nathan, and Noah Sanders; and a great-granddaughter: Wednesday Rose Calaman. He was predeceased by two sisters: Elda (Linderman) Rahn, and Doris (Linderman) Grainger.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport, PA 19533. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the funeral home.
