Theodora was a Dutch civilian war casualty of World War II. She lost her life in the aftermath of a massive Allied-led air raid on the city of Nijmegen, which ultimately killed over 880 civilians.

"Doortje was the daughter of Wilhelmus H. Mahler and Elisabeth Boekhorst. She lived with her husband, Johannes Wilhelmus Becks, and little son above their party shop at Stikke Hezelstraat 36, when the bombing on 22 February '44 ended her life. Her parents-in-law who lived one floor above them survived the bombing." (source: https://www.oorlogsdodennijmegen.nl/)
