Services for Dorothy J. Hicks, 59, Odessa, relative of Tyler residents, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home in Odessa with Robert Fletcher officiating. Burial will be in Ector County Cemetery.
Mrs. Hicks died Monday night in an Odessa hospital.
She was born April 3, 1936 in Teneha. She moved to Odessa in 1965. She was a custodian for the Ector County School District. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She married Carl Hicks on April 25, 1954.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Hicks, Odessa; one son, Bobby Hicks of Odessa; a daughter, Linda Carrigan of Chandler; two brothers, Archie May and Howard May, both of Tyler; four sisters, Ann Davis, Faye Ishmael, Sylvia Tutor, all of Lake Palestine, and Lillie D. Smith of Houston; and three grandchildren.
