Marie Hester Edmondson, 87, of LaGrange, died Saturday, May 8 at the Brian Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 10 at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. Rev. Tommy M[missing] officiated.
Mrs. Edmondson was born Sept. 18, 1916 in Randolph County, AL, the daughter of the late Herman and Vera Brown Hester. She lived in LaGrange most of her life. She was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church, and was the wife of the late Huey Pierce Edmondson.
Survivors include two sons, Norman Edmondson of LaGrange and Wayne Edmondson of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Dianna Edmondson of Nashville and A[missing] Dollar of LaGrange; and one great-grandson, [missing] Edmondson.
The Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home of Hogansville was in charge of arrangements.
