C. Harold Bagley, 88, of Adair died at 8:32 am Wednesday February 1, 2006 at Wesley Village Healthcare Center. He was born April 28, 1917 in Sciota, IL. to Ambrose Newton and Dora Vianna James Bagley, he married Dorothy Mae Spencer April 10, 1943 in Wayland, Missouri. She survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Harold Leon (and Vickie) Bagley, Kenneth Merlin (and Ida) Bagley, and Scott Ernest (and Diane) Bagley; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters, Vianna (and Harold) Hood of Blandinsville, IL., and Norma Leighty of Roseville, IL.; two brothers Floyd (and Ina) Bagley of Tucson, AZ. and James (and Pat) Bagley of Roseville, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Judith Carol Smithson; and six sisters, Caroline Bagley, Inez Smith, Ruby Bagley, Florine Lefler, Lorine Mesecher, Adeline Ray, and one brother Lloyd Bagley.

He was a lifetime farmer in the Sciota and Adair area and worked at the Norcross Factory in Bushnell and Hemp & Co. in Macomb. He was a member of the Sciota Methodist Church for many years.

Graveside services will be 3:30 PM Sunday at the Pennington Point Cemetery. Rev. James Comstock will officiate. Cremation has been accorded. Friends may visit with the family from 1:30-3:00 PM Sunday at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home.
