Paul Allen TULLIS was the son of the Rev. Stephen TULLIS & Sina LONDON. He was the husband of Martha P. BLITCH. They were the parents of a dozen children, born between 1847 and about 1873:

• Mazelia A. TULLIS (1847-1893), who, about 1879, married Angus P. MOORE (1842-1902),
• Elihu Sylvester TULLIS (1849-1919, buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, Chatham County)(in 1882, Elihu was a conductor for the Central RailRoad, residing in Savannah), who, in 1890, became the husband of Margaret W. NEWTON, "Maggie" (born 1854-1855),
• Sarah Elizabeth TULLIS, "Sallie" (1851-1911), who, in 1882 in Chatham County, became the wife of Andrew J. HAUPT II (1859-1920, buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Chatham County),
• Annette O. TULLIS, "Etta" (about 1852-1925), the widow of James JENKINS, whom she had married in 1881 in Effingham County,
• Stephen Spier TULLIS (1856-1927), who, in 1893 in Effingham County, married Agnes Ophelia DASHER (1870-1947),
• William Henry TULLIS (1859-1945, buried in Effingham County), who, in 1888 in Chatham County, married Macey A. RIMES (1868-1899, buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Chatham County),
• Ida Tallulah TULLIS, "Lula" (1861-1941), who, in 1884 in Effingham County, married William Gaston HAUPT (1860-1925, couple buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Chatham County),
• Benjamin Leon TULLIS Sr. (born 1864), who, in 1884 in Chatham County, married Annie WATERMAN (parents of Walter Leonidas TULLIS, who is buried in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Chatham County),
• Mary Adelaide TULLIS, "Mollie" or "Mamie" (1866-1952), who, in 1887 in Chatham County, became the wife of Wiley Franklin S. GRIFFIN (1867-1943),
• Lillian E. TULLIS, "Lily" (1869-1929, she died a widow in Baldwin County, where she had resided for more than 18 years), who, in 1895 in Chatham County, became the wife of Henry D. DURANT (born 1869 in South Carolina),
• Zilphola Corene TULLIS, "Ola," who, in 1895 in Chatham County, married Randall Y. WILLIAMS, and
• John Wilkerson TULLIS (born about 1873 in Effingham County), who, in 1894 in Chatham County, married Ida Ophelia FULTON (born in McIntosh County).
