Mrs. Roy Pearson, 59,
Here 42 Years, Dies
Mrs. Roy (Tena Bouwman) Pearson, 59, of 670 Hogan St. SW, a local resident the last 42 years, died Wednesday morning at Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital after a long illness.

Mrs. Pearson was born in Grand Rapids and later moved with her family to McBain, returning here in 1920.

Her husband, a factory worker, died here in 1955.

Surviving are six sons, Elmer, Raymond, Lester, Hershel, Russell and Robert; five brothers, John, Jake, Henry, Elmer and William Bouwman, all of Grand Rapids; three sisters, Mrs. Anthony (Johanna) Oudbier and Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Clement, both of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Albert (Grace) Bandsma of Cadillac, and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Joldersma Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne Webb, pastor of the Berean Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
