Samuel died in 1842.
The 1850 census shows that Cynthia moved back to Rockbridge, Virginia with her two daughters.
The 1860 Census shows that Cynthia is living with her daughter Mary Ellen McKee Levy and her first husband, Charles Patterson Levy.
After Charles dies in 1865, we find that Caroline has now moved back to Lowndes County, Alabama and is living with her daughter, Mary Ellen Mckee Levy Harvey. According to the 1870 census, Mary Ellen has now married her 2nd husband.
Eventually, Cynthia moves to Pensacola, Fl. And in the 1890 census, we find her living with Mary Ellen's 2nd husband (Mary Ellen has died), Samuel Swingley Harvey and his 2nd wife Sally Levy Harvey.
While she was showing her grandchildren how well she walked on her 92 birthday, she stepped off the side of a sidewalk, broke her leg and died abt 1 month later.
During the Civil War, during Sherman's March to the Sea May - Dec 1864 she drove a wagon with her grandchildren (boys). The horse ran so fast he kicked through the dashboard, leaving his hoof print permanently on her knee. Used a cane thereafter. Told by her to Sadie Tabeling abt 1902/1903.
