In the spring of 1873 - buying a home one mile north of Adrian. There were only 500 families within miles of their home. There they reared their family of seven children. It was here that Mr. Redmon died on Nov. 4, 1901. Mrs. Redmon stayed on the old place for a few years and then moved to Iowa for 4 years and has since lived in Delia.
Two of the children, Harriett Lillian and Sarah Belle preceded her to the life beyond - four, Edward and Thomas and Alniena Keller live near Delia, and Maud Benedict lives at Watson, Mo. Mrs. Redmon united with the Baptist church at the age of 13.
