Albert Nichols was the son of John Nichols and Elizabeth Young Nichols. He was born in Abbeville, SC, in 1910. He married Oreba (Reba) Brabham about 1930 and they had two sons, Thurman and Carlton Nichols. He served in WWII in the Pacific theather. Albert and Reba divorced and he married Thelma Partain Nichols in 1946. and they had three sons, Gary, Craig, and Dwaine Nichols.
