Edith "Janice" Young, 89, passed away on January 23, 2023. She was born on December 4, 1933, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Glenn and Iva Kiplinger.

Janice was a loving wife and mother, a good friend and devoted sister. She attended Arsenal Technical high school. She was actively involved with her children including girl and boy scouts and camping trips. She was involved in Toast mistress club, Eastern Star and The Social order of Beauceant. She was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting and participated in several card clubs. Janice was active and living in her own home till the day she passed. Her children were devoted to her and will miss her terribly.

She is survived by her sister Linda Masters, her children Jackie Dean, Theresa Griggs, Don Hollenback and Denise Rohn. Her grandchildren Scott Spangler, Neil Spangler, Jennelle Saxon, Chad Griggs, Jamie Messer, David Young, Joseph Young, Zachariah Rohn, Elysia Rohn. Great grandchildren, Megan Griggs, Amber Griggs, Dylan Griggs, Austin Messer, Shelby Messer, Cameron Smith, Matthew Smith, Indiana Young, Abby
Young, John Wayne Rohn, Forrest Rohn, Daylin McClurg and Camden McClurg.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Young and significant other Don Hollenback. She was also preceded by her brothers Carl Bachbrader, Edwin Bachbrader and Glenn Kiplinger, and her granddaughter Ashlee Spangler.

Services entrusted to Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park, 9350 East Washington St., Indianapolis, with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
