Surviving is one daughter Deborah (Curtis) Parr, of Metamora, IL; three sons, Mark (Jennifer) Lankston, Jeffrey (Melissa) Lankston, both of Metamora, and Steven Lankston of Knoxville, IL; three brothers, Danny (Lydia) Griffin, Bob Griffin, both of Owensboro, KY and Ken (Connie) Griffin of Palestine, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a devoted wife to Richard for 35 years. She and Richard were members of Bootkickers in Galesburg. She graduated from Cosmetology school and was a hairdresser. She enjoyed sewing quilts for her children, painting, and spending time with family. Her hobbies also included gardening in her yard, planting flowers, and bragging about the birds she attracted to the yard.
At their request, cremation has been accorded. The burial of their cremated remains and a graveside service will be at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg, IL.
