"Services for Sarah E. Shreve, 82, were held Saturday morning at the Rupp chapel. The Rev. Carl Whitacre officiated and burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Shreve died Nov. 1 at a St Joseph hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Shreve lived in rural Buchanan County for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Shreve.
She is survived by three sons, David T. Shreve of Savannah, and Ben Shreve and George Shreve, both of St Joseph; three daughters, Lola Miller of Savannah, Sarah Gash of Lee's Summit and Elizabeth Hogan of St Joseph; two brothers, Harold Armstrong of Marinette, Wisc., and Chester Armstrong of Beloit, Wisc.; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
