N.H. Jones Dies At Home Here Friday
Last rites for Newton Henry Jones will be held Saturday evening from the Eberley Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones, 68, died shortly after noon Friday at the family home at East Fourth and Owens Streets.
Besides his widow he leaves six children; E.A., C.O., and D.A. Jones of Ackerly, Mrs. W.A. Tennyson of Roscoe and G.N. Jones and S.B. Jones of Eastland.
Until recently Mr. and Mrs. Jones had called Eastland home. Their sons residing at Ackerly have lived there ten years.
Rev J.H. Crawford will be in charge of the services.

Newton Henry and Susan had one other child: Link Jones (Feb 16,1899 - Feb 16, 1899). The location of burial is unknown.
