Heart Attack Fatal to Veteran of World War

Joseph Nelson Cohick, 40, 1076 South Cameron street, a World War veteran, died of a heart attack last night. Gassed while serving overseas, Cohick had been in poor health for some time and was unable to work recently. He had been a steel mill worker.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Cohick; four children, Briner, Bernice, Elsie and Ross D.; three brothers, Norman, Ohio; Samuel, Oberlin, and Clarence, Carlisle, and a sister, Mrs. Mark Kirkpatrick, Ohio. Cohick was a member of Harrisburg Post, No. 27, American Legion, and its drum corps, and of Company D Veterans.

Full military honors will be accorded him at his funeral at 2 p.m., Thursday. The Rev. R. L. Meisenhelder, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate at the services at the residence, assisted by the Rev. H. A. Scott, of Calvary Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Oberlin Cemetery. Friends may call at the home Wednesday evening.
