Suggested edit: There was another son, Frank Nash Williams Burton, born October 31, 1822 and died December 1862 in Shanghai, China. There is little information on him, and I believe that is because he brought great shame on the family. He was Tennessee's 11th secretary of state from 1855-59 and embezzled $40,000. He fled the country ... and Governor Isham had a $500 reward for his return ... and he died in Shanghai in 1862. His brother George petitioned the government to clear his brother's name if the money was returned. FNW had stashed the $40,000 in a bank in Liverpool, but his brother managed to return the money in $1,000 bonds.
