EVVA BURROW, 91, of Memphis, homemaker, died of heart failure Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the St. Francis Nursing Home. She was a member of Mullins Methodist Church, active as Women's Bible Study Leader, the Kings Daughters and Canasta Club. Mrs. Burrow was the widow of State Senator J. Weldon Burrow, and they were married 60 years prior to his death. She leaves a son, Charles Burrow of Memphis; a daughter, Ruth Peters of Memphis; and a daughter, Debra Eatmon of Little Rock, AR; eight grand-children, and 14 great-grand-children. The service will be at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar at 3 p.m. on Sunday, with visitation at 2:30 p.m. Her love of all children was her legacy and the family requests that memorials be sent to Mullins Church or Memphis University School.
