He was a A.S.E. certified mechanic and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, and listening to Creedence Clearwater Revival. He loved his family dearly and will be missed always.
Among those that preceded him in death are his parents, sister, Sylvia Foster; and brother, Charles Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 36 years, Rose (McVay) Brown; children, Sonya Bernhart (Chris), James McVay, and Tyler Brown; grandsons, C.J. Bernhart and Jonathon McVay; sister, Sandra Turner (Gary); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be conducted at 7 pm on Saturday, February 18, 2023 with cremation to follow. Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday from 2 pm until time of service at the funeral home
