Mrs. Shover was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Johnston City.
She was born Oct. 7 1923, In Sturgis, Ky., to Robert and Florence Dills Gibbons.
She was married Feb. 24, 1954, in Johnston City, to Gene Shover.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Beverly Green of Route 1, Scheller, Rosemary Lopez of Herrin and Linda Shover of Herrin; two sisters, Mary Hamby of Johnston City and Willa B. Sobjania of Chicago.; and six grandchildren.
