Sandra Lee Bowman-Breeck, 79, of Anderson, passed away on Feb. 9, 2023, at her home surrounded by family.
She was born on Feb. 21, 1943, in Anderson, Indiana.
Sandy graduated from Anderson High School. She was a lifelong member of Christ Lutheran Church, where she started the Bell Choir. Sandy loved trips to Vegas and traveling with her family, but her roles as wife, mother, sister, Mamaw, and Nanny were truly what brought her the greatest joy.
Sandy is survived by her loving spouse, John Breeck; children, Mark Bowman and Mimsy (Jeff) Rahe; stepdaughter, Belinda (Sam) Stinson, sister, Sharon McVey; brother-in-law, Corval Zeabart; sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Francis; sister-in-law, Marty (Bill) Remington; grandchildren, Sarah Ergler, Scott (Stacy) Beckerman, Drake Bowman, Kade Bowman, Ada Bowman, and Gwen Bowman; stepgrandchildren, Brent (Heather) Stinson, Shelby (Jason) Holten, and Sami Stinson; great-grandchildren, Beau Beckerman, Luca Beckerman, Steven Ergler, Jasper Holten, and Wyatt Stinson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Tony Bowman; stepdaughter, Bridget Breeck; mother, Marie McCandless Popp; sister, Shirley Zeabart; brothers-in-law, Ron McVey and Lew Francis.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13, 2023, and 11:30 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor John Jameson of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park.
