Dale was a well-known State Farm agent in Thayer for 30 years.
He served three terms on the board of education for the Thayer School District.
For over a decade he performed at the Arkansaw Traveller Folk Theater at Hardy, AR, while serving as its stage manager.
Following his retirement, Dale remained active in his community, spending many volunteer hours with the Thayer Fun and Friends Senior Citizens group.
He was a member of the Thayer Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, David Huddleston of West Plains, MO; three daughters, Becky Allison of Little Rock, AR; Carmen Seal of Siloam Springs, AR; and Marcella McNiel of Ozark, MO; six grandchildren; four sisters, LaWanda Smoot of St. James, MO; Mary Lou James of West Plains, MO; Joyce VonAllmen of Koshkonong, MO; and Dorothy Barton of Alton, MO; several nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Nadine; one brother, Robert Reid Huddleston and one sister, Elaine Huddleston.
Funeral services were Feb. 17 in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel at Thayer, MO. Burial was in the Redburn Cemetery at Rover, MO, with arrangements under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.

RELATIONSHIP: Dale's great-grandparents, William Sampson Huddleston and Eliza (Brewer) Huddleton, are my great-great-grandparents.
