The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home, LaGrange, with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Carrington was born Sept. 4, 1920, in Troup County, son of William Timothy and Mae Boggs Carrington. He retired as a service station operator, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was a member of Dunson Baptist Church, LaGrange.
Survivors include his wife, Zelma; a daughter, Ann Carrington Adams of Charlottesville, Va.; a son, John Mike Carrington of LaGrange; a brother, Charlie Carrington of LaGrange; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
