Alan Robin Moak, 77, of Decatur, Texas, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, left Earth to his heavenly home Friday, January 13, 2023.

Memorial service is 10:30 AM Saturday , January 21, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour to the service at the funeral home.

Alan was born on June 8, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Joe and Mary Martha (Robinson) Moak. He graduated high school at LD Bell in 1963 and graduated Texas Wesleyan in 1970. He then married the love of his life, Glenda Boydstun, on December 23, 1977. Alan worked for Bell Helicopter for over 40 years and retired from there in 2010. Some of Alan's favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. What he cherished the most was family time, especially with his grandchildren. He loved them immensely. His family will miss his love and caring spirit.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents; and his loving wife, Glenda Gail Moak.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Stephen Moak and wife Amanda of Alvord, Texas; his grandchildren, Darby Cruz and husband Marc of Bowie, Texas, and Savanna and Levi Moak of Alvord, Texas; his great-grandbaby, Ellie Cruz of Bowie, Texas; his brother, Joe Moak, Jr. of Hurst, Texas; his nephew, Joe Moak and wife Kami of Holiday Lakes, Texas; his niece, Robin Moak of Forrest Hill, Texas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
