Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lola Bounds; her son, Douglas Conner; and one sister, Virginia Faye.
Survivors include her son, Billy King and wife, Angela; four siblings, Rosie Bowen, Charlotte Orchard, Elanore "Punky" Blunkall, and Birdie Prewett; six grandchildren, Albert Conner, Vanessa Conner, Jacob King, Contessa Southworth, Brittany Voyles, and Robbie Crites; eight great-grandchildren, James Alcorn, Wyatt Rivera, Jaxon Southworth, Jayce Southworth, Jaiden Southworth, Granger Voyles, and Rayalyn Voyles; and many nieces and nephews.
Patty enjoyed country and bluegrass music. She liked to watch Nascar on Sunday, and her favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt and Earnhardt Jr. She had an outspoken and sometimes sassy or stubborn personality, but everyone who knew her well enough got to see she truly had a heart of gold and would help the ones she loved in any way she could. Patty's favorite color was blue, and she enjoyed traveling. She lived in many different parts of the United States while working as a millwright. All she needed was her atlas and toolbox. Patty was a strong, hardworking, and very independent person. She liked playing puzzle games on her computer and watching game shows and westerns on TV.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at Flatwoods Cemetery, Eminence, Missouri
