Mrs. Ida E. Schenkenberger, 71, of 593 Corice st., died on Wednesday, March 19, in City Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Indiana*, Mrs. Schenkenberger lived in Akron for 45 years. A dietician for 15 years with City Hospital, she retired in 1962.
She is surivved by her son, Robert W. Reed of Akron; brother, Ben Yerks in California; a sister, Mrs. Axline Sommers in West Salem, Ohio; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be in Hopkins Funeral Home on Saturday at 1 p.m. with burial in Mt. Peace Cemetery.

*First marriage lisence to John Reed in Hardin County, Ohio in August of 1913, gives her birthdate as July 28 in Scott, Ohio, a first marriage for both. He died in 1970. She was married in 1950 in Summit County, Ohio to Clement Roy Clift, giving her birthdate as Feb. 28, in Lima, Ohio. He died in 1966. She was married to Fred Schenkenberger in 1958.
