Dennis Gene Boyher, age 51, of Ozark died Monday, May 11, 1998, in Columbia Hospital South, Springfield. He was born June 16, 1946 in St. Louis, Mo., and was the son of Mary Mauna Loa Simmons. Mr. Boyher was a carpenter. He was a member of Countryside Christian Church. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara Boyher, Ozark; two children, Steven Boyher and his wife, Missy, Lafayette, La.; and Terry Melton and her husband, Scott, Ozark; and four grandchildren, Kayla and Steven Boyher, and Taylor and Jonah Melton. A daughter, B.J. Boyher preceded him in death. Burial will be in Stagner Cemetery, Salem. Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society
