Mrs. Mattie Teel
Rotan - Mrs. C. W. (Mattie T.) Teel, 75, died at 7:15 a.m. Friday in Crestview Nursing Home in Rotan.
Funeral will be in Roby Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday with burial in Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Teel was born March 27, 1895 in Corsicana. She came to Fisher County in 1907 and married C. W. Teel in 1915.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Corene Teel of the home; three sons, C. W., Jr. of the home, Raymond C. of Sweetwater and W. D. of Houston; one brother, A. Driver of Abilene; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Teel was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters.
Pallbearers will be L. L. Stewart, Max Stewart, Jerry Stewart, Leo Jones, J. H. Lewis and Ed Carter.
