WIDOW OF FORMER PASTOR PASSES AWAY

Funeral services were held April 28 [1965] at First Church of Roby for Mrs. B.P. Harrison, 72, widow of a former Texas pastor.

Her late husband, who spent 35 years in the ministry, served as pastor of churches in County Line, Pledger, Hitson, Liberty, Dorris and Highland Home, all in Fisher County. He also was pastor of churches in Mobeetie, Goodnight, Channing, Morse, Kress, Silverton, Amherst and Masterson.

His Oklahoma pastorates were in Love Oak, Burns Flat, and Arnett. He also served as pastor in Tatum, N.M. Harrison died Aug. 1, 1956.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cassie Edith Carriker [1910-1985] of Napa, Calif. and Mrs. M. J. Carter [Belva Ione 1912-1997] of Dumas; and one son, Wayland Davis Harrison [1927-1981].

[She was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Paul Harrison, 1911-1960 who lived in Richmond, Calif.]
