Jimmy was an Mt. Vernon High School graduate who later worked for Mt. Vernon School District for 23 and half years. He was a faithful member of the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and was involved in many church activities, especially the Church softball leagues. He was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and also enjoyed Indiana Hoosiers basketball. Most of all he was a family man, who loved his family dearly. He was known for being someone that would drop anything to come help you and lead his family by that example.
