Beryl Wendall Dawson went to be with his father in heaven on Monday, January 30, 2023.
Beryl was born on November 6, 1936 in Lakeland, Florida to Benjamin and Frances Dawson.

He is survived by his wife Shirley, son John (wife Missy and daughter Chloe), brothers Terry and Johnny, and other numerous family and friends who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by brothers William and Willie Ray, and sister Mae Francis.

Beryl leaves us with wonderful memories of a loving husband, a good father, a flight engineer, a fire fighter, a fisherman, a home builder, and a friend. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force and as a member of the Lakeland Fire Department.

We will miss his laugh and his contagious smile but only for a short while, for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and live in glory forever more, and in glory as believers is where we will be, with our father and Beryl for eternity.

A service with military honors will be held for Beryl at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10:00AM.
