Robert R. "Buck" Alexander

Robert R. "Buck" Alexander, age 81, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023 at his home.
He was born June 20, 1941 in Whitmire, SC and was a son of the late Robert Wallace Alexander and Beatrice McMillian Alexander. He was a veteran of the South Carolina National Guard, a member of Bethesda Baptist Church, he was a servant and blessing to all people. Buck loved his farm and his cows but above all he loved to be on his tractor.
Buck is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Sparks Alexander of the home; his son, Chris Alexander of Whitmire; his brother, Jerry Alexander (Phyllis) of Pauline; his sister-in-law, Sherry Alexander of Whitmire; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Wallace Alexander.
Funeral Services will be conducted, Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2 PM at Pine Ridge Baptist Church with burial to take place at the Whitmire Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, February 3, 2023 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Whitmire Pentecostal Church, 1325 Broom Street, Whitmire, SC 29178 or Bethesda Baptist Church, 5751 Whitmire Highway, Whitmire, SC 29178.
