Alicia "Dauber" Dawn Tracy, age 45, of Whitesboro, TX, passed away January 31, 2023 from pancreatic cancer. Alicia passed away surrounded by her family.



Alicia was born January 7, 1978 to Belinda Cox and David Stafford. She attended Rad Ware / Callisburg schools. She married Gary Tracy Jr. of Whitesboro TX and chose to be a stay-at-home mom and raised two children, Maizee, and Keaton Tracy. Alicia had started subbing at Whitesboro ISD when her children started school. She loved subbing in the cafeteria so much, she accepted a position, then moved up to manager, then Assistant Director, and finally Director of Food Services at WISD. She was still currently working at WISD. She loved her family and job and put her heart into both.



She is survived by: spouse Gary Tracy Jr.; children Maizee and Keaton Tracy; daughter-in-law Katrina Tracy; grandsons Daxton Tracy, and Gilbert and Flynn Tracy; mom and step-dad Belinda and Ronnie Reynolds; dad and step-mom David and Julia Stafford; father-in-law and mother-in-law Gary Sr. and Tammy Tracy; Siblings Justin Reynolds, and Daniel, Denton, and Katheryn Stafford; sisters-in-law Mary and husband Brad Arnolds, and Melissa Payne; brother-in-law Thomas Tracy; grandparents John "Buddy" and Betty "Mammy" Cox, and Larry and Nona Reynolds. Also, numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces.



Alicia was preceded in death by grandparents Orville and Barbara Stafford and sister-in-law Felicia Tracy. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.geojcarroll.com. Alicia will be severely missed.



Visitation: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, February 10, Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home, 602 S. Lindsay St., Gainesville, TX 76240. Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, Geo. J. Carroll & Son Chapel. Interment immediately following: Mt. Zion Cemetery, Collinsville, TX. Services officiated by Duane and Annette Tracy.
