A graveside service will be held 12 PM, Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Royal Family Cemetery on Holden Road in Salemburg, NC.
Connie was born October 24, 1947 in Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Grover Royal and Lena Fann. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Brown, and brother Ray Royal.
She retired as a supervisor from Tracor Aerospace, where she worked for over 30 years.
Survivors include children Robert Brown, Shanon and Isaac Peltier, and Troy Brown; grandchildren, Emily and Jay Haun, Cody Brown, Lance Peltier, Gabrielle Peltier, Andrew Peltier, Forest and Corey Brown, William Brown, and Garrett Brown; great-grandchildren, Carson Haun, Olivia Haun, Ava Haun, Karson Setzer, and Raybon Brown; and sister-in-law, Ann Royal.
Connie was a down-to-earth woman of faith. She was kind to everyone, lifted people up, and gave wise counsel. She was very loving and gave deeply to her entire family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and her unmistakable laugh would light up any room.
