Mary Lucille (Clore) Parker, age 98 passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin. She was a resident of Franklin and lifelong Johnson County resident. She was born on September 28, 1909 in White River Township to Joel and Minnie (Utterback) Clore. She married Earl L. Parker on September 16, 1934 in Bargersville. He preceded her in passing in 1971.

Survivors include a daughter, Anna Marie (Bill) Leser of of Franklin; two grandsons, Charles Leser and Steven Leser; a great granddaughter, Shelly Leser and a great- great grandson, Austyn. She was preceded in passing by her five sisters, Doris Demaree, Margaret Clore, Grethel Murray, Eula Clore and Hazel Beck.

She was a Homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and needlepoint. Lucille was a 1927 graduate of Hopewell High School and Sanderson Business College. She was the longest living member of Bargersville Christian Church and was a member of the church choir for over fifty years. She was a member of Hopewell Extension Club.

Services were entrusted to Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home of Franklin, Indiana.
