John M. Brittain Dead.

Mrs. J.E. BRITTAIN of Thompsonville received a wire Monday night from Salmon, Idaho, to the effect her son, John Milton BRITTAIN, had died there early Monday morning. The cause of his death was not stated.
The body is being shipped to Perry, where interment will be made. It is probable that funeral services will be held at the Perry Methodist church on the arrival of the remains, which are expected about Friday. Rev. M.M. Thorne will officiate.
Mr. Brittain was born in Perry 37 years ago. he went to Idaho in 1908. The deceased is survived by his widowed mother, five sisters and five brothers, among whom are Mrs. Wm. SCHAFFER and Miss Lucille BRITTAIN of Thompsonville.

John Brittain Laid To Rest.

The body of John Milton Brittain, who died suddenly at Salmon, Idaho, Monday a week ago, arrived in Perry Sunday morning and funeral services were held in the Methodist church. Special music was furnished by a quartette composed of Mrs. Dale Stark, Mrs. William Schaake, Jr., W. E. Cain and J.W. Plummer. Miss Anona Cain presided at the paino. The pallbearers were E.G. Jenkins, Elmer Goepfert, C.G. Hart, Dean Thompson, Charles Miller and Charles Busch. The pastor of the church, the Rev. M.M. Thorne, preached the sermon. The floral offering were beautiful and many.
Mr. Brittain was the son of Mr. J.E. and the late J.T. Brittain. he was born near Perry on September 4, 1885. In 1908 he went west, making his home in Salmon, Idaho, where he had resided ever since. He visited here at the time of the death of his father in 1914 and again at Christmas time, 1921. Besides his mother, five sisters and five brothers remain to mourn his loss.
Interment was in Oak Ridge cemetery.
