  MORRELL, REBECCA R.
—At her home in Loa, Wayne county, Utah, March 1, 1910, after an affliction of 12 years. Mrs. Rebecca R. Morrell passed to her well earned and welcome rest surrounded by her dear ones and intimate friends. She was the daughter of Chapman Duncan and Rosannah Taylor, and was born at Washington, Washington county, Utah, Sept. 12, 1868. Her father was a friend and associate of the Prophet Joseph Smith. She is the wife of Ex-Bishop Wm. H. Morrell, who with six children survive. With her husband she is ranked with the pioneers of Wayne county, and has done much good in her day, notwithstanding she has been a sufferer for many years. Her friends are legion, and she will long be remembered as one of God's noble women, possessed of a modest and retiring disposition, a gentle and kind spirit. She was a true Latter-day Saint, a devoted wife, a kind and sympathetic mother and an efficient officer in the auxiliary organizations of the Church.
