Allen Roy Samsel entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at the age of 82 years. He was born on September 7, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas to Robert Albert and Mary Ryan Samsel. Allen was preceded in death by his Parents Robert and Mary Samsel; Sisters Barbara Samsel, Peggy Wilks; Nephew Glen Wilks. He was a member of the Rotary and Lions Club in Gonzales. A Commadore of the Gainsville Book Club. A Deacon of the Sherwood Shores Chapel, member of the Lone Stary Cowboy Church in Whitesboro, Texas. Small business owner in Gonzales, Texas. Allen is survived by his Wife Jane W. Samsel; Children Laurina Samsel, Allee Crosby (James), Ryan Samsel (Audi), Deanne Wagner (Randy De Meyer), Robert Wagner (Piper), Jon Wagner (Carrie); Sixteen Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Services are pending at this time. The family would like to express our thanks for the many prayers and support during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held on July 8th at 12:00 PM at the Lone Star Cowboy Church, 2116 US-377, Whitesboro, TX 76273. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a contribution to the Lone Star Cowboy Church.
