Fronie Noles Bowen, 93, of Rolling Meadows, Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, died Wednesday, Dec 27, 1995, at Hoffman Estates (Ill.) Medical Center.

Fronie is the wife of my great, great uncle Henry Jackson "Jack" Bowen (1903-1985).

Mrs. Bowen was born Oct. 28, 1902, in the Frolona community of Heard County, Ga., daughter of George and Ollie Bailey Noles. Formerly of LaGrange, she lived in Chicago 4 1/2 years, and was a member of Southwest LaGrange Baptist Church. She was the widow of Jack Bowen.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home, Inc., LaGrange, Ga., with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorris Janell "Jan" Bowen Pike of Rolling Meadows, Ill.; a son, James Hershel Bowen of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; five sisters, Belle Lesley, Mae Phillips, Alma Howell, all of LaGrange, Berta Norwood of Cumming, Ga., and Metterae Hester of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
