Pauline Harrell, 98, life long Stigler resident died Friday morning, January 27, 2023 at her home. She was born in Stigler on May 15, 1924 to George and Lillie Rose (Nixon) Berryman. She received her education at Stigler Schools and was married to Joe Harrell. Together they raised 5 children. She operated Harrell's Beauty Shop on South Broadway for many years. Pauline enjoyed sewing, embroidery and crochet as well as attending Gaither Gospel concerts and watching John Wayne and Elvis movies. She was a member of The Well Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Paula Hall of Stigler, Lavella Burson of Stigler, Annette Harrell-Mann and husband Tommy of Muskogee; one son, John Dale Harrell of Stigler; her grandchildren, Kim Waggoner and husband Wade of Stigler, Phil Hall and wife Amanda of Stigler, Michael Burson and wife Chelee of Katy, TX, Bryan Burson and wife Jean of Stigler, Samantha Labor and husband B. J. of McCurtain, Tommie Jo Burson and companion Wayne Richardson of Tamaha, Dale Burson of Stigler, Joe Mann and wife Andrea of Katy, TX, Kyle Mann and wife Shannon of Yukon, Stacy Harrell of Warr Acres, OK, Billy Joe Harrell of Greenwood, AR, Steven Harrell of Jenks, Jason Harrell of London, AR, Lee Harrell of Fairbanks, AK, Billy Dean Rice of Ada, Joe Wesley Harrell of Whitefield; sister-in-law, Dorothy Berryman of McAlester, brother-in-law, Kenneth McDougle of Hilton Head, SC. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lille Rose Berryman; her husband, Joe Harrell, one son, Sammy Harrell, four sisters; 5 brothers; as well as 2 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 3, 2023 at The Well Church with Reverend Charles Kilgore officiating. The Eulogist will be Pastor Daniel Smith. Pallbearers will be Josh Hall, Colton Hiatt, Kendall Waggoner, Steven Harrell, Joe Mann, Kyle Mann, Jason Harrell. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home of Stigler.
