Mrs. Wurtz, aged 73 years, died at the home of her son in law, James A. Voorhis, the blacksmith at Eubanks, at 12:15 o'clock last night.

She had been ailing for some time, but had been confined to her bed only two days. She was troubled with an affection of the heart.

She was the mother of Frank and Bart Wurtz, and Mrs. George Leslie; and grandmother of Mrs. Thomas J. Nicholson. She was one of the pioneers of Adams county.
